Is the course accredited?
The course is not accredited.
However, it is a certified course as learners are rigorously prepared to be in a position to write Sage Payroll Certification on completion of the course.
Sage is the leading provider of payroll solutions in South Africa; and
Also, the most widely used payroll solution in South Africa.
Once you are done with the course, you may write the Sage Certification exam to obtain Sage Certification that validates your skills to employers.
Accreditation vs Certification
Certifications are aimed at validating a set of skills for employment in the job market.
Employers are more interested in the certification of a prospective employee’s skills over the accreditation of the learning institution where a prospective employee acquired his skills.
To validate the above assertion, you may search for the two keywords above on any job market website that allows for keyword search and compare the result of your search for “certification” on the one hand and “accreditation” on the other hand.
Our finding shows that certification yields a higher result with a lot more jobs requiring certifications and very few jobs where the word accreditation of skill was interchangeably used.
Learning Materials? & Where do I write the exam?
Learning Materials include slides covered during the training; and e-books.
The Certification exam will be written online; and
A certificate of competence is immediately available on the profile of a learner who writes and passes the exam; and
The certificate can be printed on the profile anytime and anywhere.
Can one get a job with the Certification?
